Torqued Performance started in 2009 in our garage by a single tuner and horsepower enthusiast. He made the tunes, I made the logo. And by delivering quality at a fair price his reputation as an e-tuner grew. Eventually the owner and operator had outgrown his original self-published website. He needed a new solution to effectively deliver digital downloads and other products to a community of loyal customers. I wanted to represent that community with crowd sourced images so people could represent their builds and their cities with pride. My other goal was to help the owner differentiate his brand from competitors with compelling branding and imagery. I expressed these goals to our collaborator who worked with WordPress and another developer to build the site that currently functions today. Most of the photography came from my years of touring in picturesque landscapes as well as my own photography of the owner’s personal WRX build shot specifically for marketing.
